Tell us about your single ‘Pacemaker’, how was the work on it, who were the people who contributed to the single, and what is the story behind it?
The Transformaz (producers) sent the song to Charve The Don, CEO of Concore Entertainment, my record label, he loved the track and sent it to me and I started to write something to it and we put everything together, later on Charve played the song to Petey Pablo and he also loved it and got on the song.
After your breakthrough into the music industry, do you remember the moment you realized you were a rising star in the field
When I was in New York at The Times Square, a lot of people came up to me and they knew who I was, and also when I charted on Billboard!
From all the singles you’ve released so far, which one still makes you excited every time?
Pacemaker no doubt!
Who is the next artist you would like to collaborate with
Michael Jackson, Prince and Britney Spears, and as for producer Timbaland!
On my upcoming EP I collaborated with Jesse Jonhson from The Time and Prince, he produced the song called “Standing Still”. By the way my EP “DAMI-NATION” is coming out on July 24
Favorite moment from your career?
Hearing my song on the radio and seeing my music video on MTV.
Who were the people who influenced you the most from whom you were inspired?
What other things do you do besides making music
I love to dance, bake cakes and brownies, make caramel popcorn and play The Sims 4!
What excites you most about being a Singer and performing around the world?
Being able to do what I love, sharing my music with the world, dancing and performing, I also love that nervous feeling before I get on the stage and seeing the crowd’s faces singing along with me!
What are your goals for the future?
Besides having my music being known worldwide I wanna use my influence to do great things to change the world and inspire others to do the same.
Do you think the music industry that has suffered tremendous damage by eliminating festivals, closed clubs, and of course the loss of livelihood to musicians will change the face of the music industry we know?
It definitely has affected a lot of artists including me, I had a tour set up in April around the country and it was canceled because of the pandemic. A lot of artists depend on the performing and touring greatly for their income and also the workers at the festivals and events are also affected.
